A 97-Point Chateauneuf du Pape for Only $68.95!

Since the year 1860, the Boiron Family has impressively crafted wine at the property, and for the past six generations, the Domaine has been handed down from father to son, holding up to the tradition of the estate.

The 2012 Les Bosquet des Papes Chateauneuf du Pape Chante le Merle Vielles Vignes is an extremely elegant wine, which is drinking beautifully now, and should have another two decades of total longevity.

Pronounced - (sha-toh-nuhf-doo-PAHP), and as the name suggests, this wine will surely POP! This spicy French red is packed with ripe flavors of black fruits, coffee, and pepper which are all native to the Southern Rhone Valley’s Wine Region.

2010 (99-RPWA), 2011 (97-RPWA), and 2012 just so happen to all have been epic back to back vintages, highly sought after and appraised. The 2012 vintage produced an extremely rich, forward, and fruitfully loaded harvest, excellent in purity with a fantastic overall balance on the palate, aggressively comparable to the 2005 vintage, which became immediately accessible, and was very full-bodied and massive. As young as this vintage is, it was hard to resist popping the cork!

This luxuriously powerful cuvee hails from vines 80 to 100 years of age, and if that does not sell you, let the reviews do the talking!

The team over at Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate will surely attest to the fine quality in each bottle. Jeb Dunnuck, one of Parker’s highly accredited reviewers says, “No estate has made more qualitative gains in the past 3-4 years than Bosquet des Papes. I still remember being floored by the quality of their 2010’s… If you are looking for the next superstar producer in Chateauneuf du Pape, here you go!” I guess that must be why this stellar CDP was rated 97 points, and keeps on getting better! And hey, it’s not only the quality that will turn you on, for anytime you can find a highly rated CDP for ONLY $68.95 a bottle—you will want to grab this before it is gone!
