Quite drinkable and thirst-quenchingA bit too fruity for my taste, but still an amazing wine. I prefer stronger drinks with more alcohol, but my girlfriend talked me into trying this Bordeaux wine, she said it was one of the most famous in the world so I said yes. I don't regret it though, it was quite a pleasure.

It was complex, I believe because it felt like it had multiple layers that I could taste one by one. Quite drinkable and thirst-quenching. We paired it with beef and I think they go together very well.

Maybe not the best wine I've had so far, but certainly a great one. The waiter told us it's going to be better in ten years or so, so I may come back to try it then.
Fireworks! An explosion of full-bodied wine in my mouthThose who know me also know that I'm the biggest fan of French wines you'll ever meet. I almost refuse to try anything else, I think other wines will just ruin it for me.

I tried this Lafite at a dinner party - I brought it! And I was stunned. I couldn't stop talking about the wine the whole evening. Rothschild has always been in my top 5 best French wines, but this one I believe ranks first from now on. Fireworks! An explosion of full-bodied wine in my mouth, some brilliant fruit flavors, layered and beautifully combined, with a gorgeous finish. It lasted for a full minute, as I recall.

I must find another bottle and keep it for a few more years. I can't even imagine it, but experts say they expect it to be even better.
