Wine Critic Reviews:

The crystalline nose here is primal, backward, takes some coaxing from the glass: blackberry, bilberry, briary, graphite and a spellbinding sense of mineralite. The palate is beautifully balanced with svelte tannins. Touches of sandalwood inflecting the pure fruit, deftly integrated new oak; incredible length once again. Despite the vice-like grip on the finish there is a feminine quality to this wine. Quite simply: it takes your breath away. Perfection.

  1. extremely long, mesmerizing finish
    Product Rating
I must give my wife credit - this bottle was her idea. We felt somewhat nervous and impatient, but the wait was totally worth it! It's such a good wine that we kept trying to find excuses to drink. While the price tag on this 6L behemoth can seem intimidating, it rewards you with something truly magnificent and special.
I love how mineral-heavy the wine is, and the blackberries create an intriguing contrast with that earthy sensation. A bit of sandalwood and graphite sneak in towards the extremely long, mesmerizing finish. As soon as we're able to afford this wine comfortably, it is very high on our priority list.

  2. An absolute stunner for any party!
    Product Rating
An absolute stunner at my last party! It's an approachable, seductive wine, full of elegance and playful energy. The bottle didn't come cheap, but it's a lot of bang for your buck. While it was originally intended as a one-time purchase, the wine was good enough to make me a repeat customer.
Flavor-wise, you should expect to notice minerals and sandalwood, with a very seductive combination of blackberries and billberries pulling you deeper in - and with a bottle of this size, that's quite deep! The finish is long and somewhat tense. I can safely recommend this wine to anyone who wishes to arrange a meetup or party.
