Wine Critic Reviews:

Pale yellow-straw with a green tinge. Sexy aromas of orange, lime, jasmine and ginger. Sappy, spicy and extremely intense, with a remarkably spherical, seamless texture for a wine with such clarity and cut. With its combination of generosity of texture, sucrosite, energy and focus, this is a splendid example of this great grand cru. The whiplash of a finish features chewy, palate-staining extract. Country France: Words fail us when trying to adequately portray France's place in the world of wine. It's downright impossible to imagine what wine would feel and taste like had it not been for France's many, many viticultural pioneers. Fine wine is the blood of France's vigorously beating heart, and it finds itself in many aspects of French culture. With a viticultural history that dates all the way back to the 6th century BC, France now enjoys its position as the most famous and reputable wine region on the planet. If you have a burning passion for masterfully crafted, mouth-watering, mind-expanding wines, then regular visits to France are probably already in your schedule, and for a good reason.
Producer Faiveley: With a whopping 125 hectares of grape-nurturing land under their ownership, Domaine Faiveley has access to some of the finest, richest soils in all of Burgundy. Few wineries can compete with this absolute titan, and their consistency keeps their reputation as pristine as the delicious elixir that comes out of their barrels. Their insistence on a low-yield traditionalist approach makes every new bottle as desirable and mouth-watering as an established classic. Producing incredibly diverse wines, you can find a plethora of different flavor profiles to fall in love with. No matter what your preference is, you will remember their wines for decades to come, as they leave you satisfied but also puzzled as to how such a level of quality can be maintained with their degree of consistency.
