Wine Critic Reviews:

This a white with beautiful mineral character that turns to peaches and cream. Full body plus bright acidity and a flavorful finish yet its subtle and creamy textured. Drink now. James Suckling

Country Italy: What are the first things that come to mind when thinking about Italy and Italian culture? There's one thing that nearly everyone tends to mention, it's the food - and where there's fine food, there is almost always fine wine. Italy is the most prolific wine region in the world, outclassing even France in terms of production quantity. Even if you're a complete wine novice, you have almost certainly heard of names such as Barolo and Barbaresco, Italy's most famous wine styles. When it comes to soil composition and other geographical characteristics, Italy offers a lot of diversity, and this never fails to show in the wines themselves.

Region Abruzzi: Italy is a well-established winemaking center, with special styles and techniques used throughout its regions to produce the finest wines out of international as well as some legendary native grape varietals. Italians really value the beautiful things in life, like a great meal with family or a wonderful day spent in blooming nature. Abruzzi's majestic landscapes certainly have the power to plant peace in all who visit it, even if they typically don't pay attention to such things. Its incredibly varied terroir of jagged mountains, narrow coastline, and precious green hills display such beauty that many parts of this region are now national parks. The grapes grown here give fittingly gorgeous wines, thriving in the variable climate of sunny warm days, interrupted by rain showers and cooler nights. Abruzzi's best and fittest are the native varietals of Trebbiano and Montepulciano. Trebbiano is a hardly predictable, mysterious grape used all over Italy in some of the most interesting white wines produced in the country. For those who prefer reds, but not the overwhelming kind, Montepulciano is an excellent choice. Saturated in color with a gentle berry flavor profile and very refined tannins, this charming wine pairs well with food or an intimate gathering with friends, in true spirit of Italy.
