Extremely perfumed and floral with so much rose and blueberry and stone. Full body, yet agile and exciting. Salty. It will fill in with age if you give it the chance. What a wine. Try in 2021.

From a site that’s just on the edge of the Green Valley region of the Russian River Valley, the 2015 Pinot Noir Kanzler Vineyard (from vines approaching 20 years of age) offers a darker style in its plum, blood orange, crushed herbs, and pepper aromas and flavors. Gorgeous on the palate, with a light, elegant, silky texture, medium to full-bodied richness and integrated acidity, it’s going to evolve gracefully given its balance and purity. This is the finest vintage of this cuvee to date.
