Wine Critic Reviews:

The second wine of this incredible estate is the 2016 La Clarte de Haut Brion Blanc (76.3% Sémillon and 23.7% Sauvignon). As with the grand vin, it has an incredible mix of vibrancy and richness as well as beautiful tart citrus, lime, white flowers, and crushed rock aromas and flavors. Fresh, focused, medium-bodied, and with bracing acidity yet terrific concentration, it too needs short-term cellaring and should keep for two decades. Jeb Dunnuck

It's a playful wine, vivaciously dancing with your tastebuds as you sample its wonderful flavor profile and refreshing purity. Country France: Words fail us when trying to adequately portray France's place in the world of wine. It's downright impossible to imagine what wine would feel and taste like had it not been for France's many, many viticultural pioneers. Fine wine is the blood of France's vigorously beating heart, and it finds itself in many aspects of French culture. With a viticultural history that dates all the way back to the 6th century BC, France now enjoys its position as the most famous and reputable wine region on the planet. If you have a burning passion for masterfully crafted, mouth-watering, mind-expanding wines, then regular visits to France are probably already in your schedule, and for a good reason.
Producer Haut Brion: Chateau Haut-Brion, originally founded in 1525, was responsible for the "New French Claret," the precursor to modern fine red wines. Their red wines are supported by a variety of some of the finest ingredients known to man. From the intriguing and creative inclusion of current flavor to the down-to-earth and homey charcoal that gives it a familiar and precise structure, you can experience new sensations every time you pour a glass of this heavenly elixir. The white wines outclass a lot of their competition, as their flavor is the stuff of legends. One sip introduces you to a flowery, colorful mix of lemon zest, grapefruit, decadent honey, and refreshing, juicy melon. The texture is smooth as silk, and the wine goes down as if it had a mind of its own.

Region Bordeaux: Even among the greatest and most reputable wine regions on the planet, Bordeaux stands above the rest. The winemakers of this region have a single-minded dedication to the fine art of viticulture and their efforts never fail to show. If you consider yourself a fine wine enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to visit Bordeaux - life changing. Whether you wish to drink some inspirational and gripping wine as soon as possible, or you want to add some masterpieces to your collection, no region on Earth is a more obvious choice. The noble and beautiful Garonne and Dordogne rivers surge through southwestern France, enriching the soil in a way very few other places can boast. The limestone-based earth is rich in calcium, and the almost oceanic climate conditions give the staple Bordeaux grape varietals vigor and flavor like nowhere else. For their illustrious reds, Bordeaux winemakers rely on a proven combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Meanwhile, a sip of their excellent white wine hints at the use of Semillon, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Blanc. Each of these varietals carries a unique identity, making every quality wine a character piece to rival Citizen Kane. It can be incredibly hard to choose only a few wines to collect for your cellar!
Type of Wine Bordeaux White: In the world of wine, all other regions must bow before Bordeaux. The absurdly-talented white wine producers continue to assert their dominance by bringing out the true potential of varietals such as Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Sauvignon Gris. If you have even the slightest bit of appreciation for fine white wine, these bottles will change your life.
Varietal Bordeaux Blend: Since its birth in France, the art of Bordeaux-inspired blends has been brought to regions like California, and Washington, where New World visionaries add their own unique spin to the formula, creating mouth-watering tributes to Bordeaux's viticultural greatness. Today, with a compelling cultural mixture, sampling Bordeaux blends is more excited than ever.
