A very solid wineA very solid wine, in my opinion. Not the best I’ve tasted, but a purchase I can’t say I regret. I really like the aroma of barbecue spice, reminds me of how much I enjoy dashes of game or smoked meat in my wine. At one point, I paired the wine with some delicious meatloaf, and the result was quite positive.
As far as the price goes, the wine is far cheaper than its quality suggests, so if you’re trying to get the most bang for your buck, I guess this is a great option. I’m hoping that future vintages can at least replicate this level of quality.
What an absolute treat it was! When my wife and I saw a perfect 100-point score awarded to this wine by certain reputable critics, we felt compelled to try this lovely Sassicaia. What an absolute treat it was! The ripe cherry flavor had me hooked from the start, and the herbs and other fruit notes quickly followed.
We can’t wait to get more. I highly recommend these bottles to anyone patient enough to cellar them for a bit (although we didn’t, and it turned out great nonetheless). The wine should be in its prime at least until 2050. Be ready for bidding wars if you want to secure a couple of these!
