With around 66 acres covered in vineyards, Alban has a lot of terroir diversity, which helps their wines stand out from each other as well as bring something unique to every tasting. The favor grape varietals normally used in the Rhône Valley, such as Syrah, and the difference in climate between the two regions allows those varietals to sing in an entirely new language than they normally would. While there is a lot of flavor variety on display when it comes to Alban Vineyards, you can expect signature notes such as black and blue fruit, warm toast and oaky vanilla, or some sharp and daring black pepper. The wines tend to be incredibly thick and rich, almost syrupy, and pretty bold in their approach.
