Pure but a bit tightly wound, with lovely texture and uncompromising dryness to the dark raspberry and tobacco flavors. It has a clean, precise bouquet of blackberry and bilberry fruit, and a light estuarine scent emerges with time. Shockingly deep, medium-bodied, and beautifully concentrated, with ripe tannins, it shines for its purity and nuance but offers serious intensity as well.
