Lafon Rochet Wines

Chateau Lafon Rochet carries centuries of history, but its recent success can be attributed to the work of Guy Tesseron and his family. After what can only be described as a miraculous revival of the estate, the size of the property increased significantly, going from 17 to a whopping 38 hectares of grapevine-planted soil. Their terroir is unique, although some of the clay deposits resemble those found at Chateau Petrus. Now, after so many changes and improvements to the winery and the vineyards themselves, Chateau Lafon Rochet creates what can only be described as mouth-watering, decadent wines. The intensity, purity, and balance are all there, and it would take you at least a full evening to pick up on most of the aromatic subtleties – and what better way to spend such an evening?
