The second wine of Angélus is almost as structured as the first wine. It has serious tannins and dark acidity. At the same time, the fruit is rich with black-currant flavors. Initially very fully flavoured, concentrated and ripe red berry fruit, but the expression also has tension which means it becomes more straightforward with a stony grip to the tannins all the way through. Gently balanced, keeps the persistence but with the foot off the pedal. A really easy to drink accessible wine with plenty of enjoyment on offer.
