The NV (2020) Extra Brut Les Vignes de Vrigny is laced with crushed flowers, chalk, mint, spice and dried citrus peel. Aromatic, light on its feet and energetic, the 2020 is all about understatement, delineation and class. The long, vibrant finish is beautifully rendered. Pretty floral and saline notes linger. Dosage is 1 gram per liter. Offering up an expressive bouquet of pear, rye bread and red cherry, it is medium- to full-bodied, fleshy and fruit-forward, with ripe but racy acidity and an expansive finish.
