A New Arrival, 97 Point Pinot Noir That You'll Love!

Gary Andrus founded Pine Ridge Vineyards in 1978 with his desire to craft world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from the various areas in Napa. However, he eventually caught the Pinot Noir bug and became obsessed with the potential the Willamette Valley offered, in particular the Dundee Hills. Archery Summit was launched there in 1993 and has been producing exquisite Pinot Noir ever since.

Their Dundee Hills Pinot Noir blends grapes from their five estate vineyards incorporating all the hallmarks of the storied appellation: brambleberry, ripe rainier cherry, blackberry blossoms, cocoa powder, and spice on the nose ~ fresh, juicy red fruit backed by graceful tannins and acid on the palate, finishing with spiced oak and a mouth-coating minerality. The 2021 is a case study in the magic of the Dundee Hills with Pinot Noir!

Out of 14,641 entries, 2021 Archery Summit Pinot Noir Dundee Hills was 1 of only 50 wines to receive 97 point Best In Show at Decanter’s 2023 World Wine Awards. The only 2 other Pinot Noirs to receive Best In Show were 2021 Palliser Estate Hua Nui Single Vineyard Pinot Noir, which currently is not offered outside of New Zealand, and Burgundy’s 2021 Domaine du Chateau de Meursault Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epenots, which starts at $218 / bottle.

2021 Archery Summit Pinot Noir Dundee Hills is a deal when it comes to Oregon Pinot Noir! It trades up to over $82 / bottle, but we have it for just $48.99 / bottle.

If you have holiday planning on your mind, this 97 pointer would be a great wine to pour with your Thanksgiving meal. It will leave you and your guests smiling!

Cheers!
