This is an easy drinking wine made of 70% Petit Verdot and 30% Merlot, with only 1,000 cases produced. The 2018 vintage received a 93 – 95 point score from Robert Parker Wine Advocate.
It’s a very powerful wine, but not at all overbearing. The nose is full of dark fruit - like ripe raspberry and blackberry, with some chocolate notes. Across the palate, it’s unctuous and rich, but not teeth-staining purple. The finish goes on and on. It’s well-structured and should age very well, but it’s a solid drinker right now.
