Founded in 1834, Domaine Tempier was a working farm with vineyards of Mourvèdre, but when Lucien Peyraud married Lucie ‘Lulu’ Tempier in 1936, the mythic winery truly began.
The focus on Mourvèdre is what separates Bandol form the rest of Provence, especially when discussing rosé.
